Mariners beat Red Sox, 3-2 in extra innings

For the second time in three nights, the Red Sox fell to Seattle on a walk-off hit.

Chone Figgins RBI sac fly in the 11th inning proved to be enough for the Mariners to knock off Boston, 3-2, Saturday night at Safeco Field.

A solid performance by Josh Beckett, who went six innings and gave up just two earned runs on four hits while striking out four, was wasted by the Red Sox.

Adrian Gonzalez had three hits in a losing effort.
