Does everyone have their popcorn ready?
We're just a few days out from the money fight that is Floyd Mayweather vs. Conor McGregor on Saturday, Aug. 26 in Las Vegas.
While the two have been providing untouchable entertainment value with their pre-fight conferences and meet-ups, the general consensus is that the fight will likely leave plenty to be desired.
That doesn't mean millions are going to skip watching it.
No, no. This is going to be huge, much to the dismay of boxing and fighting purists everywhere.
Before the two meet in the ring though, they'll have one more chance to talk some trash to each other's faces at the official weigh in.
Here's what you need to know about it:
Date: Friday, Aug. 25
Location: T-Mobile Arena, Las Vegas, NV
Time: 6 p.m. ET
Live Stream: Fox Sports Go
I doubt this will be your run-of-the-mill weigh in considering the two have even been talking trash about this.
With the fight at a 154-pound light middleweight limit, Mayweather boldly predicted that McGregor will come into the weigh in too heavy.
This obviously struck a nerve with McGregor (via USA Today):
"He needs to shut his mouth. It is a fool of a thing," McGregor said. "Let him keep praying, praying for weight, for fatigue, praying for me to take a backward step. All he is doing is praying, but he is praying to the new god of boxing."
Well, that's bold.
Bring on the anarchy.
