More dangerous than desperate

No one in the Big Blue locker room took the bait last week in discussing the possibility of putting a stranglehold on the Cowboys’ season. Dallas is at the bottom of the division despite owning the league’s No. 3 offense and No. 4 defense.

“You know what, I'm not answering any questions about the Dallas Cowboys this week,” ex-Cowboy Chris Canty said in a polite yet stern voice. “Anything concerned about our football team and the challenges moving forward, no problem.”

Canty, a free-agent signee in 2009, is definitely aware of the hole the Giants can bury the Boys in, but he and his teammates remained adamant that 1-4 Dallas is just as dangerous as any 4-1 team.

“They are always dangerous. They have playmakers on both sides of the ball,” Eli Manning said. “They could have four or five wins. We have to go in there and play great football.”
