NBA Mock Draft Rumors: Sixers make trade Luka Doncic falls
Matt BurkePosted on
Our latest 2018 NBA Mock Draft looks at rumors that the Sixers may make a trade and that Luka Doncic could fall in the draft. There will be a riot outside of Talking Stick Resort Arena in Phoenix if the Suns do not take DeAndre Ayton with the first pick in the 2018 NBA Draft. This means that coveted Slovenian basketball stud Luka Doncic will be there for the taking when the Kings pick at number 2. ESPN’s Jonathan Givony, however, believes that Vlade Divac and the Kings will bypass Doncic. He also says that the Atlanta Hawks could let Doncic slide by – in favor of a player like Marvin Bagley, Jaren Jackson Jr or Mohamed Bamba.
In our latest 2018 NBA Mock Draft, we have Doncic “falling” to the Grizzlies at pick number 4. We also have the San Antonio Spurs taking the place of the Philadelphia Sixers twice in the first round, as the Sixers make – by far – the most sense in the NBA for a Kawhi Leonard trade. The Sixers would surely need to relinquish the No. 10 and No. 26 picks in this year’s Draft – as well as multiple current players on the roster (think Dario Saric, Markelle Fultz) in order to whet the Spurs’ appetite. Here is our latest 2018 NBA Mock Draft.
