NBA Playoffs: 3 keys for Sixers vs. the Heat

If the Sixers are going to come back against the Heat, they need to follow these three keys.

1 Get off to another fast start

The Sixers have outscored the Heat by an average score of 25.2 to 18.7 in first quarters this series. If Miami is going to insist on starting a woeful Mike Bibby and Zydrunas Ilgauskus, the Sixers must take advantage yet again.

2 Get the Twin Towers rebounding

The rebounding margin in Game 3 was so ugly that Doug Collins used 7-footers Spencer Hawes and Tony Battie together at times in Game 4. If that’s what it takes to keep the Heat off the offensive glass, it has to be done.

3 Let Meeks shoot the ball

When trying to pull off an upset, 3-pointers can be the great equalizer. Jodie Meeks is averaging just 6.8 points per game in the series and attempted just 3.0 treys per game. That’s not nearly enough for him.
