New England will be well-represented in the 2014 NCAA men's basketball tournament field as UMass-Amherst, Harvard, Providence and UConn will all compete in March Madness, beginning in full Thursday at noon.
UMass-Amherst earned a No. 6 seed in the midwest region and will face Iowa or Tennessee Friday in Raleigh, NC Friday at 2:45 p.m. (CBS).
Harvard is a 12-seed in the East and will face No. 5 Cincinnati Thursday in Spokane, Wash at 2:10 p.m. (TNT).
Providence is an 11-seed in the East and will take on ACC power North Carolina Friday in San Antonio, Texas at 7:20 p.m. (TNT).
UConn is a 7-seed and will face St. Joseph's out of Philly on Thursday in Buffalo, N.Y. at 6:50 p.m. (TBS).
