Rejoice, Giants fans. There is no drama waiting for you on Monday.

It has been confirmed by NFL.com that star wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. and defensive end Olivier Vernon have arrived at the team’s facilities in East Rutherford for physicals ahead of Tuesday’s mandatory minicamp.

While this wouldn’t normally be that big of a deal, Beckham and Vernon were the largest absences at organized team activities last week.

Vernon’s reasons for skipping were not revealed, though the Miami native did tell teammate Jay Bromley at a charity event, “it’s too chilly out there,” via Newsday’s Tom Rock

Beckham sat out of OTAs because he is reportedly looking for a new contract. The Giants picked up the fifth-year option on his rookie deal during the winter, but he is still grossly underpaid for a player of his caliber.

As one of the most explosive receivers in the game, Beckham will make just $1.8 million this season.

But he made it a point to ensure everyone that he will be at minicamp this week thanks to social media:

That doesn’t mean he will be exempt from endless questioning about his skipping of OTAs and whether or not it was really because of his desire for a new contract. But at least now the Giants have all their pieces together for a few days before the start of training camp later this summer.
