NFL Week 16 breakdown

The Falcons clinch the NFC South with a win and secure home-field advantage throughout the postseason. The Saints, meanwhile, need to avoid a late season tailspin like the one in ’09, where they lost their final three regular season games.

Matt Ryan is 19-1 all-time in the Georgia Dome, but the Saints are the last team to win there, 26-23 last December. Ryan will outplay Drew Brees, and more importantly Michael Turner runs wild. We’ve been hot with these picks, so take the Falcons plus-3.
The Pick: ATL 33, NO 24

Player to watch:
Danny Amendola, WR, STL
The “other” undrafted little guy named Danny has a career-high 75 catches, 627 receiving yards and three TDs. Look for Sam Bradford to hit him for a long score vs. the Niners.
