NFL Week 5: The breakdown

Game of the Week:
Kansas City (3-0) at
Indianapolis (2-2)
Sunday, 1 p.m. (CBS)

The Chiefs are the only unbeaten left. Yep, a team that’s averaged 3.3 wins over the past three NFL seasons. Don’t get carried away just yet, though. The Chiefs’ opponents are a combined 3-9 and there are six rookies playing significant roles. The Colts have lost just one game — that fluky Week 16 against the Jets last season — over the past two years at Lucas Oil. They’re not losing this one.

Player to Watch:
Eric Wright, cornerback, Cleveland Browns Anquan Boldin and Terrell Owens had back-to-back monster days against the Cleveland cornerback. His assignment this week? Falcons stud Roddy White. First-round pick Joe Haden’s waiting in the wings for that No. 1 cornerback gig. If White goes bonkers, it might be time to move Haden up Eric Mangini’s depth chart.
