NHL Playoffs: You thought Bruins win would be easy?

No matter how well Game 1 went, you didn’t really think the Bruins were going to roll over the Flyers, did you?

They’re probably going to win this series. There were a heck of a lot of positives to take from Game 2’s 3-2 overtime victory in Philadelphia late last night.

But this much is clear: Even after two defeats, Philadelphia is not going to be a pushover.

The B’s — OK, just Tim Thomas, really — barely managed to hold off the Flyers — OK, just James van Riemsdyk, really — for huge swaths of Game 2, including nearly all of the first and third periods.

Boston got the better of the run of play in the second and OT. But 40-plus minutes belonged squarely to the team in Creamsicle orange.

Regardless, after David Krejci’s overtime game-winner, the B’s are up 2-0.

But if you learned anything from last night — to say nothing of last year — you know they’d better come out flying back home in Boston.
