Nicks to miss three weeks

The Giants were hit by another devastating injury yesterday. And this one is by far the toughest to replace.

Leading receiver Hakeem Nicks will miss at least three weeks due to swelling in his lower right leg. Nicks is being treated for compartment syndrome after being hit in Sunday’s 27-17 loss to the Eagles. The Giants are being cautious with the injury because there’s a chance for long-term muscle and nerve damage.
