Even before the World Cup kicks off, Nike is already winning its own game. The brand behind the iconic Swoosh is making the kits for 10 of the 32 teams.
Among the sides outfitted by Nike are host Brazil, Holland and Portugal. Rival sports brand Adidas is in the second place, with nine teams wearing the famous three stripes including defending champions Spain, Argentina and Germany.
Puma climbs to the podium as the third brand of choice with eight sides, with Italy and Uruguay donning the famous German band.
The other brand making up the numbers at the tournament are Swiss brand Burrda Sport (Belgium), Italian outfitter Lotto (Costa Rica), Ecuadorian brand Marathon (Ecuador), German sportswear Uhlsport (Iran) and Spanish clothing firm Joma (Honduras).
