Sixteen games into the 2010-11 NBA season, the Celtics are sitting pretty.
At 12-4, they’re leading the Atlantic Division by a country mile. Better yet, they’re one of just three 10-win teams in a mediocre Eastern Conference — Orlando and Atlanta are the others.
The Western Conference, by comparison, went into last night with six 10-win teams, and Denver had a chance to become No. 7.
No team has been decidedly better at home than the C’s (7-1 at the Garden), and a 3-1 division record bodes well for their eventual playoff seeding.
Boston has won three straight going into tomorrow night’s game at Cleveland, which shocked the C’s, 95-87, way back in the second game of the regular season.
