Patriots at home: A story of domination

Nobody defends their house better than the Patriots.

New England’s 30-21 win over the Jets today was their 19th straight regular-season home victory. That’s the longest streak in team history, besting an 18-gamer that lasted from 2002-05.

The current streak dates back to a 47-7 win over Arizona on Dec. 21, 2008.

Since 1970, no team has had more success at a single stadium than the Pats. They’re 62-12 all-time at Gillette Stadium, an .838 winning percentage. Only the Dolphins (101-22-1, .819 at the Orange Bowl) join them above the .800 mark.

The Pats won 12 straight at home from 2006-08. That streak ended on Sept. 7, 2008.
