Panic. Cole Hamels was placed on the 15-day disabled list.

Don’t panic. Hamels is scheduled to pitch Monday in Cincinnati.

The move is retroactive to Aug. 13, so the left-hander is eligible to return Sunday. Hamels tossed a bullpen session yesterday and was fine, according to pitching coach Rich Dubee.

“He’s feeling strong, no arm discomfort, really good command of everything, no hesitancy,” Dubee said.

The Phils made the move to bring up Pete Orr from Triple-A. With Jimmy Rollins on the DL and Raul Ibanez dealing with a sore groin, they wanted an extra bat. Ryan Howard (ankle) also missed last night’s game. He’s day-to-day.
