Phillies top Padres behind Lee

Cliff Lee picked up his 13th victory of the season as the Phillies beat the San Diego Padres, 4-2, at Citizens Bank Park Wednesday night.

Freddy Galvis, who played second base in place of regular starter Chase Utley, was the offensive star, going 3-for-3 with two RBIs and a home run.

Galvis now has six home runs in limited duty this season -- the same amount as starting shortstop Jimmy Rollins.

Lee pitched eight innings. He surrendered solo home runs to San Diego's Jedd Gyorko and Tommy Medica, butallowed just three other hits and struck out nine.

Jonathan Papelbon picked up his 26th save of the season with a perfect ninth inning.

The Phillies are now 67-78 on the season. San Diego fell to 66-78.
