ESPN Sportscenter anchor Stuart Scott passed away on January 4, 2015 after battling cancer.
He was loved across the sports world and was known for his unique way of popularizing catchphrases when reporting highlights on Sportscenter. One of his favorite lines to say was “Boo-Yah.” On Thursday, as a tribute to Scott, ESPN honored him by unveiling a plaque on their wall with his famous line.
