After being accused of using performance-enhancing drugs and appealing a 211 game suspension to return to the game, many baseball fans have lost their respect for the 39 year-old baseball veteran.
On Sunday, Alex Rodriguez was drilled with a 92 miles per-hour fastball by Boston’s Ryan Dempster. All of Fenway Park enjoyed that moment, but of course A-Rod and the Yankees did not. Both benches were cleared and Yankees manager Joe Girardi was ejected from the game.
