Playing the Field: Minnesota reporter gets tackled, violently

It’s always incredibly annoying for football fans to see some TV features reporter intrude into their football coverage.

Enter KARE 11 Minneapolis’s reporter Lee Valsvik. Poor Ms. Valsvik got sent to some lousy restaurant in the city to talk some garbage about food. What this has to do with the Packers-Vikings game we have no idea. But she’s wearing a Jared Allen jersey and pretending like actual football fans want to spend an inordinate amount of money ongrilled salmon with red wine oxtail sauce. (Hint: They don’t.)

But what’s a pointless TV stand-up without a little stunt thrown in. And that’s where it all went so terribly wrong.

Yep, that is Lee’s cameraman absolutely dump trucking her.

My favorite part of the whole video is how the cameraman just blows her away and keeps running. He just gives a little glance over the shoulder, as if to say “Oops.” It almost looks intentional, doesn’t it?

Also, the off-camera “I’m OK!” from Lee is classic. All I can think of when she says that is the famous clip from the first “Austin Powers” when Will Ferrell’s Mustafa is dumped off screen and burned (but still alive!).
