Celtics head coach Brad Stevens offered some optimism to Boston fans awaiting the return of point guard Rajon Rondo before Monday night's game against Houston as he said he expects Rondo's return from injury to come "sooner rather than later."
Last week, Yahoo Sports' Marc Spears reported that Rondo is targeting this Friday's home game against the rival Lakers for a return. If Rondo does return Friday against LA, it would come 357 days after he tore his right ACL against the Atlanta Hawks.
