The Red Sox (36-33) earned their seventh win in eight games Thursday night and completed a three-game sweep of the Miami Marlins with a 6-5 win at Fenway Park.
Boston was down 5-3 as late as the eighth inning but Will Middlebrooks belted a two-run homer to center and Daniel Nava singled home Ryan Kalish as the Red Sox took the lead for good.
Scott Atchison picked up the win for Boston as starter Daisuke Matsuzaka went 5.1 innings and gave up four earned runs on four hits.

Alfredo Aceves picked up his 18th save of the year with a perfect ninth.
