The Red Sox (52-65) will wrap up an eight-game road trip with two games against the Reds in Cincinnati Tuesday and Wednesday.
Joe Kelly (2-2, 3.86 ERA) will make his second start in a Red Sox uniform Tuesday, squaring off against the Reds’ Mat Latos (4-3, 3.12 ERA). In a matinee Wednesday (12:35 p.m., NESN), the Sox will send Allen Webster (2-1, 4.91 ERA) to hill as Cincy will counter with Homer Bailey (9-5, 3.71 ERA).

The Reds (60-58) are still very much alive in the NL playoff race as they are five games behind Milwaukee in the division and 2.5 games out of the final wild card spot.
The Red Sox are no longer in “win-now” mode as the organization has its eyes fixed on 2015, but Boston looked solid in its weekend series against Anaheim, taking two of three. The Sox are 4-5 since deadline day.
Boston returns to Fenway Park Thursday when it will take on the Astros in the first game of a four-game set. It will be the beginning of an 11-game homestand.
