The Red Sox (52-51) won their third straight game Monday night, beating Detroit, 7-3, at Fenway Park.

Clay Buchholz (9-3) recovered well from a poor start, earning the win after pitching eight innings while allowing just five hits and two earned runs.

Carl Crawford's triple in the first got the Sox offense started and home runs by Dustin Pedroia and Will Middlebrooks finished things off.
