Red Sox win second straight against Miami

The Red Sox roller coaster season is once again on the ascent as Boston collected its second straight victory over Miami Wednesday night, pounding the Marlins, 10-2.

Felix Doubront (7-3) continued to be the Red Sox most reliable starter as he worked seven innings and allowed just two earned runs on three hits.

Boston scored runs in the third, fourth and sixth innings to earn a 4-0 lead, powered by a home run by David Ortiz and an RBI single by Adrian Gonzalez.

Dustin Pedroia, Jarrod Saltalamacchia, Nick Punto, Gonzalez and Ortiz would all drive in runs in a six run eighth inning
