Replacement era over: NFLRA agrees to terms with league

A little over 48 hours after the highly controversial ending in Seattle, the NFL and the NFL Referees Association agreed to a tentative deal that will end the lockout.

The two sides reportedly agreed to an eight-year collective bargaining agreement and a crew of NFLRA officials will officiate tonight’s game between the Browns and Ravens and the entire Week 4 slate.

An official deal is expected to be signed today, according to NFL Network.

“Our officials will be back on the field starting (Thursday) night,” NFL commissioner Roger Goodell said in a joint statement. “We appreciate the commitment of the NFLRA in working through the issues to reach this important agreement.”
