Reports: Hobbs out for season

The revolving door at kick returner will have to continue. Ellis Hobbs is done for the season after suffering his second neck injury in the past two years.

He’s expected to hit injured reserve, according to multiple sources. Andy Reid wouldn’t confirm it.

“He does have a disc injury in there, not the same disc as he had before,” the coach said yesterday. “We’re just going to take our time and further evaluate it.”

Hobbs incurred the injury on the second half kickoff in Sunday’s win, in a helmet-to-helmet collision with Dave Tollefson.
