Columbus Crew SC striker Ola Kamara is a potential target of several teams in England for a loan this offseason.
Kamara scored 15 goals this season for Columbus, a massive strike rate during his first year in MLS. The Norwegian forward, who has appeared a handful of times for his national team, has generated the interest of several teams in England who might look for a loan deal in 2017.
A league source tells Metro that Kamara “has one team in the Premier League interested as well as two clubs in the Championship.”

The English Championship is the second division in England, one step down from the Premier League.
This is only interest of course. Columbus may not want to loan out the player, a move that would impact his availability for preseason preparations for the 2017 season and could potentially cut into the start of the MLS season as well. But the interest from one Premier League side and two Championship teams is genuine and a testament to Kamara’s debut season in MLS.
The 27-year old forward came to MLS following successful stints in Europe with Molde FK in Norway as well as Austria Wien.
