‘Teen Mom’ Catelynn pregnant again (UPDATED: Or is she?)

UPDATE II: Now Catelynn is telling UsWeekly that she’s not pregnant. The whirlwind life of a “Teen Mom” fan!

UPDATE: In Touch Weekly is reporting that Catelynn is pregnant for the second time, due this winter.

“She said, ‘You’re never going to believe it: I’m pregnant,’” a friend of Catelynn told In Touch. “I asked how she felt about it. She said she was nervous and scared.”

But once the news sunk in, the mag reports that “She is now feeling
complete joy,” according to a family member, and that this time, she’s
definitely keeping the baby.

Metro’s original story is below:

Since first appearing on MTV’s “16 and Pregnant,” Michigan-based duo Catelynn Lowell and Tyler Baltierra have shared the highs and lows of their decision to put their daughter Carly, now 3, up for adoption. Now the engaged twosome are back for the final season of “Teen Mom,” and they told us what we can expect from them this season and beyond.

What’s on tap for this season?

Tyler: I have to say, this is gonna be the most intense season.

Catelynn: A lot of stressful things go on. In my story, [Tyler’s dad] Butch and my mom get into a very severe thing and it’s not good.

Tyler: But we also get to —

Catelynn: See Carly again, and we have a very hard breakdown afterward.

Tyler: That was much needed because we haven’t —

Catelynn: Cried in a long time.

How was it to see Carly again?

Tyler: Really good.

Catelynn: She’s so big and she loves us. She knows who we are now.

Tyler: [She’s a] very confident, independent little girl. We were visiting her and I was trying to race her a bit and she was like, “I’m the leader, stop!”

How do you envision your relationship with her as she gets older?

Tyler: At a certain age, we’re gonna let her make the decision: [Do] you wanna continue the visits that you’ve had with us, or do you just wanna —

Catelynn: Live your life?

Tyler: It would be really hard for me and Catelynn if Carly decided [she was] better off not seeing us, but I think at the end of the day it should be her decision. I don’t want her to think the visits are forced or she’s obligated to have contact with us.

What about you two: Have you set a wedding date?

Tyler: We set a wedding date, it is the 13th of July, 2013.

Will Carly be there?

Catelynn: We are hoping. We’re gonna ask and just see. I don’t want her at the reception, just when we say our vows.

Tyler: I really, really want her there. I really feel that Carly’s the reason why we work so hard to keep our relationship going strong, and I feel like if it wasn’t for her, we wouldn’t even be getting married.

Did you ever second-guess your decision to choose adoption?

Catelynn: Of course you always miss her, and you always want her to be in your life, but if I did parent, I probably wouldn’t be where I am now. I probably wouldn’t have graduated high school, I probably wouldn’t have my own house.

Tyler: [The] decisions you make guide your destiny.

You’re in college together. How’s that going?

Tyler: I just finished my freshman year. I’m going for social working for at-risk youth.

Catelynn: I started my freshman year. I’m going to be a pregnancy counselor, working with girls in adoption planning.

If you could sign up for “Teen Mom” again, would you?

Catelynn: Yes. We showed people a different option and we educated them: Adoption’s not like how it was 20 years ago.

Tyler: That’s the whole reason why we did “16 and Pregnant,” [to] show people how adoption really works. And it’s turned out to be inspiring to people.

Catelynn: And by far, MTV are the only people who have had a true vision on adoption.

Tyler: “Juno” was not right.

Catelynn: Not at all. She gets out of the hospital — “Oh, I’m gonna go play guitar with my boyfriend and I’m all happy.”

Tyler: She’s very nonchalant, and she doesn’t ever break down. And the adoptive dad hitting on her …

Catelynn: It was not real at all. MTV are the only people that have ever shown adoption —

Tyler: Accurately.

Nobody’s perfect

A lot of viewers say you’re their favorite couple. Do you feel pressure to be the perfect couple for your audience?

Tyler: Absolutely not. I mean, yes, we have a very good relationship, and I think communication is the thing that keeps us so strong. I don’t hold anything back: You’re pissing me off, I’m gonna tell you — and vice versa.

Catelynn: We are a good couple. We’re not perfect. We still bicker.

Tyler: We bicker, we get on each other’s nerves. People are like “Oh, they’re so perfect,” and no, we’re not, I’ll tell you that.
