1 Air ball — Kellen Clemens, filling in for the injured Mark Sanchez, did the bare minimum — no turnovers, no real impact. “I don’t think I blew the top off of any-thing,” Clemens said, “but I did what was required.”

2 Settling for field goals — Jay Feely hit all four of his first-half field goals, but the Jets should have been up by more than 19-0 at the break.

3 Need some help — The?Jets’ third straight win helps, but they don’t own a tiebreaker over New England (8-5), Miami (7-6) or Jacksonville (7-6).
