The Hub Crawl 2/29: Celtics end skid, Senators dump B’s

The Celtics snapped a five-game losing streak Tuesday night, beating the Cavs in Cleveland, 86-83.

“It was a win, that’s all it was for us,” Boston coach Doc Rivers told the AP. “It was a good way to end the losing streak, but we have to be better than that.

Ray Allen totalled 22 points while Kevin Garnett added 18.

Boston is back in action tonight against Milwaukee at TD Garden (7:30, CSNNE).

Bruins: Mike Mottau and Brian Rolston both played their first game for the Bruins in 2012 but it didn’t help with the final tally as Ottawa beat the B’s at TD Garden, 1-0.

Robin Lehner stopped 32 shots and earned his first NHL shutout for the Senators.
