It was the low-point of the new “Big 3” era Wednesday night in Philly as the Celtics were torched by the Sixers, 103-71.
The C’s had a chance to take over first place in the Atlantic Division and move into the No. 4 seed in the East (due to each Eastern Conference division winner earning a top four slot).
The Celtics main excuse will be that they were playing on the second night of a back-to-back, but there are few positives in a 30 point-loss.
Evan Turner scored 26 points for Philly while Paul Pierce led the C’s with 16.
NFL: The Jets have already contacted Peyton Manning regarding possibly acquiring the former league MVP, the New York Daily News reported.
