"Hatfields & McCoys"

MINISERIES. The epic true story of two warring clans is dramatized in this three-part miniseries starring Kevin Costner as Devil Anse Hatfield and Bill Paxton as Randall McCoy, friends and neighbors whose disagreements after their return from the Civil War nearly ignited war between Kentucky and West Virginia.

Series premiere, Monday, 9 p.m., History Channel

"Game of Thrones"

DRAMA. The much-anticipated Battle of Blackwater — Stannis' assault on King's Landing and the Lannisters — comes to life (and death) in this episode penned by the "Game of Thrones" mastermind himself, George R.R. Martin.

Sunday, 9 p.m., HBO

"Magic City"

DRAMA. Who needs a Memorial Day barbecue when you can soak in the sun (and sex and drama) of the fabulous late-1950s Miami with this "Magic City" marathon, airing all episodes of Season 1 before next week's finale.

Friday, 9 p.m., Starz

"Mermaids: The Body Found"

REALITY. Experts claim to have proof that mermaids really existed. Were the remains found next to those of the Loch Ness Monster and Bigfoot? (No, of course not — Bigfoot isn't aquatic.)
