“Trapped in the Closet”

DRAMA. The R. Kelly saga that began as one wonderfully weird tale of infidelity has officially turned into a full-blown music video soap opera. The new chapters nicely reference previous indiscretions (Chapters 1-5, remember, were originally released back in 2005) while introducing new players, like a couples therapist and underworld kingpin, both played by the singer.

“It’s a SpongeBob Christmas!”

SPECIAL. The sponge turns into clay as the series goes stop-motion animation for a special that finds Plankton desperate to get on Santa’s (John Goodman) nice list.
