“Partners”

COMEDY. A gay man, Louis (Michael Urie), fears he’s going to lose his straight BFF business partner, Joe (David Krumholtz), after the latter proposes to his girlfriend (Sophia Bush). (Cheer up, Louis — your supportive boyfriend is played by Brandon Routh.) This sitcom from “Will & Grace” creators David Kohan and Max Mutchnick was inspired by the duo’s real-life friendship.

Series premiere, 8:30 p.m., CBS

“Dancing with the Stars: All-Stars”

REALITY. The show’s first all-star season features 13 former contestants, including favorites such as Kirstie Alley and those still pushing the definition of celebrity, like Bristol Palin.

“Mike & Molly”

COMEDY. The honeymoon’s over for newlyweds Mike (Billy Gardell) and Molly (Melissa McCarthy), who begin to adjust to married life as Season 3 opens.

“Hawaii Five-0”

DRAMA. Christine Lahti joins the cast for Season 3 as cop Steve McGarrett’s (Alex O’Loughlin) presumed-dead mom, who unexpectedly arrived on his doorstep at the end of last season.

“Castle”

DRAMA. Now that the will-they-won’t-they question has been answered by Beckett (Stana Katic) and Castle’s (Nathan Fillion) Season 4-closing makeout session, what do the detective and author do now? Keep the relationship quiet and continue solving crimes, apparently.
