“Jersey Shore”

REALITY. So long, meatballs — after six seasons of GTL, grenades and T-shirt time, the self-proclaimed guidos and guidettes who ruled Seaside Heights, N.J. — with minor detours attempting to look legit in South Beach and Italy — are closing the “Shore” house for good. A toast toMTV’s most unlikely celebrity housemates (at least since “The Real World” first bunked seven strangers under one roof) and the engagements, babies and sobriety that they have seen these last three years. But mot importantly, we must give our thanks to the cast for expanding our vocabulary — may you all live long, mint lives in accordance with girl/guy code.

Series finale, 10 p.m., MTV

“The X Factor”

REALITY. Five million bucks. That’s the size of the recording contract girl group Fifth Harmony, country singer Tate Stevens and young Carly Rose Sonenclar could walk home with tonight — and how much Fox hopes you actually love the winner the voting audience has chosen.

Season finale, 8 p.m., Fox

“CMA Country Christmas”

SPECIAL. Sugarland’s Jennifer Nettles hosts this down-home holiday celebration with appearances by Lady Antebellum, Scotty McCreery, Keith Urban and more.

9 p.m., ABC
