“Crossfire Hurricane”

DOCUMENTARY. Taking its title from the opening lines of “Jumping Jack Flash,” “Crossfire Hurricane” is a 50th anniversary celebration of the Rolling Stones, documenting everything from their formation as the “black hat” counterpart to the Beatles to the reasons for the band’s longevity (besides the fact that any original members are, miraculously, still alive).

9 p.m., HBO

“Mysteries at the Museum”

REALITY. Host Don Wildman visits Niagara’s Daredevil Museum, because such a thing exists, courtesy of all those barrel-over-the-falls stunts.

Season premiere, 9 p.m., Travel Channel

“Glee”

COMEDY. The big city kids return to Ohio in time for McKinley’s production of “Grease,” which makes us realize Rachel and Santana totally missed their opportunities to play good girl Sandy and troublemaker Rizzo.

9 p.m., Fox
