“Underemployed”

DRAMA. Twentysomethings attempt to navigate unpaid internships, even crappier paying gigs, and one unplanned pregnancy while trying not to have their big dreams of a glamorous life in the city entirely squashed.

Series premiere, 10 p.m., MTV

“Sons of Anarchy”

DRAMA. “Community” star Joel McHale makes a guest appearance as a conman who tries to pull one over on the wrong motorcycle club. We had a suspicion Jeff Winger was going to get himself into some serious trouble one of these days.

10 p.m., FX

“Iconoclasts”

REALITY. “Girls” creator Lena Dunham and Judd Apatow, who serves as an executive producer on her series, chat. We listen, and hope to glean some sense of how to be half as successful as this pair of comedy masters.

8 p.m., Sundance

“The Men Who Built America”

DOCUMENTARY. The entrepreneurs who imagined the United States as a titan of industry — Andrew Carnegie, Henry Ford, J.P. Morgan, John D. Rockefeller and Cornelius Vanderbilt — are profiled in this eight-hour docu-series.

Series premiere, 9 p.m., History
