“One Tree Hill”

DRAMA. Tree Hillers past and present gather in their tiny North Carolina town to reminisce on where they’ve come from (high school basketball rivalries!) and where they’re going (for some, just across the street) in the two-hour finale that caps nine seasons of this small-town soap opera.

Series finale, 8 p.m., The CW

“Best Friends Forever”

COMEDY. This charming sitcom is about pals who stick it out through thick and thin — including testing the three’s company rule when newly single Jessica (Jessica St. Clair) moves back into the apartment she used to share with Lennon (Lennon Parham), which is now also occupied by Lennon’s boyfriend (Luka Jones). It’s a refreshingly positive spin on female friendships.

Series premiere, 8:30 p.m., NBC

“Toddlers and Tiaras”

REALITY. The toddlers take Manhattan in an NYC-themed pageant. We’re guessing the Statue of Liberty was passed over as inspiration, considering that dowdy dress she wears and her sickly shade of green.

Season premiere, 10 p.m., TLC

“Happy Endings”

COMEDY. The friends attend yet another wedding; Penny prepares to attend another wedding dateless, until she meets a cute guy (guest star Brian Austin Green) via Skype — which means she would probably be better off remaining dateless.

Season finale, 9:31 p.m., ABC
