‘Go On’

COMEDY. In a commercial-free sneak peek at NBC’s new Matthew Perry-led sitcom, the former Friend gets a new kind of support group — a motley crew of grievers who help Perry’s recently widowed sports-radio host come to terms with his loss. The comedy is actually much more upbeat than the premise might let on — particularly after the group gets ahold of some play swords and medieval costumes to blow off some steam.

Preview, 11:05 p.m., NBC

‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’

REALITY. “Toddlers & Tiaras” pageant queen Alana, aka Honey Boo Boo, shows off her self-described “redneck” family in this spinoff that visits the 6-year-old’s roadkill-cooking clan in rural Georgia.

Series premiere, 10 p.m., TLC

‘Dallas’

DRAMA. We don’t expect any “Who shot J.R.?”-level cliffhangers in this reboot’s first season finale, but Bobby’s does take a turn for the worse, so expect a few unresolved storylines before new episodes return in 2013.

Season finale, 9 p.m., TNT
