Tonight's TV highlights: "American Horror Story" moves to the "Asylum."

"American Horror Story: Asylum"

DRAMA.
The scares take place in a 1960s-era mental institution for Season 2,
with some cast members returning in new roles (notably Jessica Lange as a
terrifying nun). Did we mention the evil doctor (James Cromwell)? Yeah,
it's all here for your pre-Halloween thrills.

REALITY.

filled with scandal? Meet the women whose real-life tales of murder and
betrayal are better than fiction.

"World Without End"

DRAMA.
This follow-up to Ken Follett's "The Pillars of the Earth" stars
Cynthia Nixon as a power-hungry murderess vying for control amidst the
struggles between the church, the crown and the restless people of
14th-century England.

Miniseries premiere, 8 p.m., Reelz

"Suburgatory"

COMEDY.
Tessa's return to Chatswin after a summer in NYC with her grandmother
comes with a newfound interest in her deadbeat mom, leaving proud single
papa George feeling threatened.
