TV picks: Weekend, Nov. 9-11

“Family Guy”

COMEDY. Two hundred episodes of “Family Guy” could all be erased — and not because Fox is canceling this animated sitcom once again. Stewie faces the threat of being “unborn” when Brian breaks the kid’s time machine and causes reality to run in reverse.

Sunday, 9 p.m., Fox

“Wedding Band”

COMEDY. This new TV rom-com is like “The Wedding Singer” with Brian Austin Green in the Adam Sandler role. Unfortunately, the kooky cuteness of the frontman is here replaced by ego and smarm. Plus, there’s no excellent ’80s soundtrack.

Saturday, series premiere, 10 p.m., TBS

“Firefly: Browncoats Unite”

SPECIAL. Ten years after the cult sci-fi series premiered — and was canceled — the Science Channel revives the Joss Whedon fantasy with a behind-the-scenes look back celebration of the enduring popularity of the series with cast and crew. The special is preceded by a series marathon kicking off at 7 a.m.
