COMEDY. The superheroes — and not so super characters — of the DC comics universe get the silly, dirty-minded, hilarious stop-motion animation treatment in the Season 6 opener.

“Masterpiece Mystery: Wallander III”

DRAMA. Kenneth Branagh returns as Kurt Wallander — one of those brooding Scandinavian detectives who are so popular these days — to solve three cases based on the novels by Henning Mankell. First up: His cozy new home life in his dream house with a new girlfriend is shattered when the skeleton of a girl is discovered in his garden.
