‘Alcatraz’

DRAMA. Fifty years ago, over 300 Alcatraz inmates disappeared — at least according to J.J. Abrams. In his newest supernatural island mystery, those prisoners are now reappearing and committing crimes once again, which makes this a fun twist on the crime procedural. Sarah Jones stars as the detective with family ties to The Rock who is trying to figure out what the heck is going on, while “Lost” star Jorge Garcia plays an Alcatraz expert helping her along the way.

Series premiere, 8 p.m., Fox
