‘Person of Interest’

DRAMA. When The Machine singles out a 6-month-old baby, the “Is this a victim or evil-doer?” quandary that Finch and Reese usually face isn’t even an issue — unless crying for no discernable reason has been deemed an act of terrorism, which some new parents may rally for. Either way, we love Reese as protective parent, even if only to see him rocking the baby sling.

‘Saving Face’

MOVIE. If you’re still catching up on watching this year’s Oscar winners, tick best documentary short off your list tonight. “Saving Face” chronicles the work of plastic surgeon Dr. Mohammad Jawad, who returns to his homeland of Pakistan to perform reconstructive surgery the victims of acid violence.

‘Up All Night’

COMEDY. Reagan and Chris get a little too desperate in their attempt to make friends with the cool gay parents who just moved to the neighborhood.

9:30 p.m., NBC

‘Awake’

DRAMA. Britten’s two worlds continue to intersect on the job, which raises the suspicion of his captain. But even more difficult to wrap his head around may be the events surrounding the accident that changed Britten’s life.
