‘CSI: Crime Scene Investigation’

DRAMA. Tonight Elisabeth Shue steps in where 12-year “CSI” vet Marg Helgenberger exited last month. Shue plays Julie Finlay, a blood-spatter expert who’s called by D.B. Russell — with whom she has a “past” — to help solve a murder case.

10 p.m., CBS

‘Survivor: One World’

REALITY. Season 24 opens in Samoa with the requisite twist — this time, the competition is girls vs. guys. But after the teams are divided by gender, the next unexpected rule is revealed, as the contestants find out they’ll all be living together in the same camp.

Season premiere, 8 p.m., CBS

‘Suburgatory’

COMEDY. Tessa runs for student body president on an anti-sports platform, which will probably lead to as much success as if she ran with an anti-Facebook campaign.

8:30 p.m., ABC

‘Revenge’

DRAMA. Note to Emily: When you’re planning a grand vendetta, choosing “fire and ice” as the theme of your engagement party seems to be tempting fate. Tonight, fate arrives, and it’s not in a very celebratory mood.

10 p.m., ABC
