‘I Hate My Teenage Daughter’

COMEDY. There’s little to like in this sitcom about two entitled teen girls and their unhip moms desperately trying to live vicariously through their “cool” daughters, who are really just the school mean girls. Jaime Pressly and Katie Finneran as the best-friend moms deserve better treatment — and material — than this.

Series premiere, 9:30 p.m., Fox

‘Christmas in Rockefeller Center’

SPECIAL. The most famous Christmas tree in America gets all decked out for the holidays with a little help from Justin Bieber, Cee Lo Green and Carole King.

8 p.m., NBC

‘Grammy Nominations Concert Live’

SPECIAL. Lady Gaga, Rihanna and Sugarland are among the performers — and possible nominees — in this concert/announcement of the music award’s nominees.

10 p.m., CBS

‘Trek Nation’

FILM. JJ Abrams and George Lucas pay homage to sci-fi great Gene Roddenberry in this profile by his son, Rod, which documents the “Star Trek” creator’s life and work.

Premiere, 8 p.m., Science Channel
