TV Watch List: Wednesday, Sept. 14

‘Up All Night’

COMEDY. Christina Applegate and Will Arnett play new parents attempting to keep some semblance of their cool former lives — not to mention their sanity — after the baby arrives. Both actors are comedy pros who have great chemistry as the totally recognizable couple simply trying to be the best mom and dad they can be — which of course results in plenty of funny situations (like hangover diaper changes!).

Series premiere, 10 p.m., NBC

‘America’s Got Talent’

REALITY. The talent pool has been whittled down to four in your grandma’s favorite summertime series; the country’s biggest talent show ends when America crowns either jazz singer Landau Eugene Murphy, Jr., young soul band POPLYFE, or one of the remaining dance troupes, Silhouettes or Team iLuminate.

Season finale, 8 p.m., NBC

Survivor: South Pacific

REALITY. Returning players Ozzy Lusth and Benjamin “Coach” Wade join 16 newbies to Season 23.

Season premiere, 8 p.m., CBS

‘America’s Next Top Model’

REALITY. All-stars! As former
contestants return to the competition, expect even more attitude than
usual from models who think they know everything about the industry but
have little to show for it since their first appearance on the show.

Season
premiere, 9 p.m., The CW

‘Free Agents

COMEDY. Alex (Hank Azaria) has just gone through a divorce and Helen’s (Kathryn Hahn) fiance recently died, so naturally these coworkers find awkward comfort hooking up with each other. While their pairing — and this sitcom, based on the U.K. hit — offers some distraction, neither is anything to write home about.

Series premiere, 10:30 p.m., NBC
