TV Watch List: Weekend, Jan. 20-22

This weekend's TV highlights: Rob Lowe goes dark

‘Drew Peterson: Untouchable’

MOVIE. It is “literally” terrifying to watch “Parks and Recreation” star Rob Lowe play Chicago cop Drew Peterson, who is suspected of murdering his third and fourth wives (No. 4 played here by Kaley Cuoco).

Saturday, 8 p.m., Lifetime

‘Bayou Billionaires’

REALITY. When a massive natural gas deposit is discovered under their home, a simple Louisiana family adjusts to life in a much more posh tax bracket — like probably cutting down on the “gas” jokes.

Season premiere, Saturday, 9 p.m., CMT

‘An Idiot Abroad 2: The Bucket List’

REALITY. Karl Pilkington may be Ricky Gervais’ “idiot” friend, but now he also — begrudgingly — gets sent around the world to check things off of his “things to do before you die” list. To be clear, that’s Gervais’ list, not Pilkington’s.

Season premiere, 10 p.m., Science

‘Shark Tank’

REALITY. The shark bait in the Season 3 premiere includes an author looking for funds to kick-start his celebrity ghostwriting biz and an online venture that helps people plan their own funerals.

Season premiere, Friday, 8 p.m., ABC
