Two round NBA Mock Draft 2018: Wendell Carter Bulls Mikal Bridges Knicks

DeAndre Ayton has been appearing at the top of many NBA Mock Drafts recently, but we’re not yet buying him as a No. 1 overall pick. He is said to lack passion and that – combined with the fact that he plays the center position (the least valued position in basketball) is why NBA teams at the top the draft may be hesitant to pick him.

Ayton is far from a traditional big, but he’s not exactly as nimble as fellow seven-footer Kevin Durant.

Another player to look at in this draft is Duke power forward Wendell Carter. Carter, who has been compared to the Celtics’ Mr. Everything Al Horford, would fit in seamlessly with the Bulls’ young core of Lauri Markkanen, Kris Dunn and Zach LaVine.
