When it comes to mixed martial arts, age ain't nothing but a number.
Just ask UFC president Dana White.
"One of the craziest things to me," White said after Thursday's UFC 133 prefight news conference, "is when you look at boxing, age is such a big deal. Once you got past, like, 33, guys would just fall off. In this sport, and nobody talks about this, nobody says anything about this, Anderson Silva, the pound-for-pound best fighter in the world and the guy I think is the best ever, is 36 years old. A lot of people don't even talk about that or think about that. The guy's 36 years old. It's pretty amazing."
All four fighters in Saturday's main event and co-main event are in their 30s.
